PRL is proud to offer our Aluminum Storefronts and Designer Door series that are designed for exterior and interior commercial or residential use. Our aluminum and glass window wall storefront systems boost high performance, durability and excellent energy efficiency without compromising aesthetics.
Compatible with other PRL products, we offer several premium glazing systems and Designer Door Series in captivating horizontal and rectangular shapes. Available in a beautiful assortment of standard and custom finishes, handle options and endless glass options, PRL can provide an aluminum and glass storefront entrance that’s sure to impress.
PRL ALUMINUM STOREFRONT SERIES:
PRL’s Aluminum Storefront Series is a high-performance storefront system designed for exterior and interior use for commercial and residential applications.
Our Aluminum Storefront Series features a traditional center set glass and front set glass for insulating glass or monolithic annealed/tempered glass. Available aluminum storefront stock lengths are 24 feet long. Extruding this in-house, PRL can accommodate any custom length.
PRL’s aluminum and glass storefront performance is excellent for air and water infiltration, structural wind loads, seismic design, and hurricane impact resistance. When combined with high-performance or insulated (IG) glass our storefront series provides excellent energy efficiency.
Our aluminum storefront systems are compatible with a variety of other PRL products such as aluminum entrance doors, all-glass entrance doors, and our curtain wall system products.
At PRL, our goal is to offer you a complete aluminum storefront system that includes glass, entrance doors, and all related components and hardware, making PRL your one-stop-shop.
- The 250 Series is a versatile and economical center-glazed system designed specifically to be glazed with 1” insulated (IG) glass. To accommodate most job conditions the 250 Aluminum Storefront Series includes a complete line of extrusions and accessories.
PRL’s 250 glazing system is available in 2” x 4 ½” sections with a 1 ¼” glass pocket width. Entrance doors may be adapted by using a filler insert.

An offset glazed system, PRL’s 251 Aluminum Storefront Series is designed specifically to be glazed with 1” insulated (IG) glass. This system is available in 2” x 4 ½” sections with glass inserts that may be positioned inward/outward for custom application.
To provide a minimal frame protrusion, this series is designed with slightly off-plane frame/glass faces, increasing aesthetics and performance values. This series includes a complete line of extrusions and accessories to accommodate most job conditions. The 251 Series will accommodate most PRL entrance doors.

PRL’s 400 Series is a 1 ¾” x 4” glazing system that will receive ¼” glass in a ½” glass pocket width and can be a shop or filed fabricated. Extrusions can be reinforced to meet more rigorous performance requirements. This aluminum storefront series receives all standard entrance door hardware and door types with single or double-action door hardware.

A popular, preferred choice for aluminum storefronts is PRL’s ladder pulls. Sturdy in construction and dynamic in appearance, our ladder pulls are a prevailing favorite for aluminum entrance doors. Fabricated from 1 ¼” stainless steel, brass or aluminum tubing, our ladder pulls can be mounted on glass or aluminum stiles of any thickness.
Offering standard overall ladder pull lengths of 24”, 36”, 48”, 60”, 72” and 84”, PRL also offers custom overall lengths to meet your specifications. Available in an assortment of beautiful finishes such as clear and bronze anodized as well as brushed and polished stainless steel or brass, PRL offers ladder pull finishes that will accentuate your aluminum entrance doors or storefront with class.
EXTERIOR PUSH PAD PANIC DEVICE HANDLE OPTIONS:
To accommodate emergency egress requirements for aluminum entrance doors and storefronts, PRL offers a selection of exterior push pad panic device handles including well known manufactures such as Von Duprin and Adams Rite, as well as PRL’s own exterior tubular panic device.
PRL’S PL-100 EXTERIOR TUBULAR PANIC DEVICE SERIES HANDLE:
PRL’s PL-100 exterior tubular panic device series offers an assortment of exterior panic device handles for aluminum entrance doors and storefronts.
Manufactured in-house by PRL, our exterior tubular panic device handles offer a sleek, contemporary design.
Constructed with a durable, slim, 1 ¼” diameter tubing that conceals the latching mechanism; our exterior tubular panic device handles provide a less restrictive view for aluminum and glass entrance doors.
PRL’s exterior panic device handles meet required regulations and certification standards. A.D.A compliant, our panic devices hold two certifications from the American National Standard for exit devices; ANSI/BHMA A 156.3-2008, Grade 1, and UL305 certification for standard safety for panic devices.
Designed to accommodate glass thicknesses of ½” and ¾”, our exterior panic handles can also be fabricated for use on aluminum or wood doors. Available in a collection of incomparable finishes for your aluminum and glass entrance doors, these panic handles offer beauty as well as safety.
